Cardex 2009, the 8th Digital Identity Assurance conference and expo for Middle East and Africa, focuses on smart cards alongside
biometrics, rfid, information security and efinance banking technology for a more comprehensive event for identity security solutions
and technologies. The regional focus is key to building networking success.
Cardex 2003, was the first
and leading event for digital identity and assurance in Middle East.
It was previously held under the support of Egyptian Ministry of Communications & Information
technology and Ministry of State for Administrative Development. This year,
the event is also held in Cairo, Egypt.
In the last event, May 2008 the event attracted over 65 exhibitors
from over 26 countries. International and local exhibitors presented
products and services to over 2900 visitors from the business sectors
of loyalty & retail,
government, banking & finance, information & telecommunication, border
control.
